Bella Italia: A Dream That Became Reality

Italy—a land of love, romance, aesthetic pleasure, and dolce vita—has always been a place of inspiration. Great masters of art found their muses here, creating masterpieces that the world still admires. It was a country where beauty was woven into every detail of life, from breathtaking landscapes to rich traditions, from exquisite food to timeless architecture. And for those searching for creativity, for a spark to reignite their passion, it was the perfect destination.

I had a dream—to create a community, to bring people together through exploration and creativity, to grow, to create, and to share unforgettable moments. I wanted to choose special, authentic places full of life, where inspiration is in the air, where every conversation, every sunset, every meal will carry a story waiting to be told.

When Irena messaged me, saying, “It would be great to organize a writers’ retreat in Italy…” I didn’t hesitate. I already had a vision, and I knew this journey needed to be more than just a writing masterclass—it had to be an inspiring experience, a retreat that will nourish both the mind and soul. And so, our project was born. Together with book and writing masterclasses author Irena Karpa, and chef Masha Ledina, we invited a group of women to spend a few unforgettable days in Le Marche, a region known for its rolling vineyards, fragrant wines, and artisan cheeses.

Our home was an authentic villa, surrounded by nature and steeped in quiet beauty—the perfect setting for reflection, creativity, and deep connection.

Despite the challenges—rainy days, unpredictable moments, and the little inconveniences that come with adventure—we created something truly special. The retreat became a space of depth, warmth, openness, and support. We shared priceless moments, found inspiration in each other, and wrote with raw honesty. We indulged in the authentic flavors of Italy, savoring every dish, every sip of wine, every carefully crafted meal.

More than just a retreat, it became a little community. In those days, we didn’t just find inspiration—we found each other. And isn’t that the greatest treasure in life? To find your tribe, the ones who make the journey richer and more meaningful.

I had an incredible experience in Italy, thanks to Ivanna. It was my first trip, a long-awaited dream. The Puglia region, a writers’ retreat, a villa with an olive grove and trulli — everything felt magical. We spent our days with talented women, enjoying writing practice with Irena Karpa, trips to wineries, cheese factories, and cozy restaurants.
Ivanna thought of every detail: thoughtful gifts, a relaxed schedule, and shared meals prepared by chef Maria Ledina that filled the air with love. It was a perfect blend of rest, support, and the power of women.
